With a 744 picking up the VS75 out of MAN for a wee while from tomorrow - I see that an LHR 744 takes up residence at LGW once again to help fill the gap.

Now then....I wonder if it might even be a newly fitted 744 too operating the VS75 from tomorrow...... ): ): :D :D

I'm guessing not. The only way to get another 747 to LGW tomorrow (without a positioning flight) is to use the a/c operating the 27 today back as the 76 (with the 75 A333 operating the 28). That would mean it is XLG for the 75 tomorrow with ROY doing the BGI ex MAN on her return back from LAS.

No official reason given - most likely one of the A333's is due for maintenance.

Not sure they are both due for maintenance, the other one is currently operating the GLA flight and it will have to operate that back again tonight so pretty certain at least one will be operating flights on Tuesday ex LGW.

I'm wondering if VLIP (Hot lips) might make the trip northbound after completing the VS32 in the morning ?|

Just out of interest, just checked EF for the VS75 tomorrow and a newly refitted a/c is showing - though obviously for anyone flying this can and does change at times....

One of the A333s is doing the VS49 tomorrow from LGW....

All seems very random to me. Yesterday ROY did the MAN-LAS flight, swapped with GAL and did the LAS-LGW flight, operating the 15 to MCO this morning and is scheduled the 76 back to MAN tonight. Surely it would have made sense to have let her do the 86 back from LAS to MAN last night?

I guess there is some very clever and complicated reasoning behind it, it doesn't however make sense to a mere simpleton like me.

I total agree with you Neil, can't work it out. It sounds like a lot of fuss for little return.... ?|

I see VAST (newly refitted a/c) operated the VS74 into MAN this morning and subsequently is operating the VS73 today - hopefully she will stick around more than VLIP did on Monday!!! ?|

G-VAST is heading back to Manchester on the VS74 tonight, which means it may be sticking round at Manchester for a bit! Good to finally see Manchester with a refitted a/c!
