Codeshare with Transaero and more with US Airways

I can't see it on the VS web site yet but see here for news of a new codeshare with Transaero in Russia and more codeshares with US Airways.

Tres interesting, though I would imagine the US airways codeshare will quickly be annulled if the AA merger completes and they join OneWorld.

Really interesting news re: the Russian flights, and a further "Look, we are committed" to the EU decision makers over the bmi/BA spare slots I'd say..

The US Airways codeshare covers Philadelphia to London Heathrow, and Boston to Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, Richmond, Rochester and Syracuse.

Also codeshare on US Airways’ frequent shuttle service between Boston to New York and Boston to Washington.

US Airways will be codesharing on VS services between London Heathrow and Boston, Washington, Johannesburg and Cape Town.
