Hi All,

I have luckily got two seats reserved on this flight already (flight seems pretty full as when I booked months ago there were only three pairs of seats left to hold) but they are not window seats.

I have just completed online check in for us, but the option to change seats says: "seat maps unavailable as there are no alternative seats to allocate"

Darn it - I wanted to see the seat map to see if we were getting a refurbed craft...as well as get window seats!

Any ideas what now, I presume I have to get to Manchester really early tomorrow to smile nicely at the check in staff. Do I print my boarding pass with the existing seat details on in case they can't change them or not bother?

If you are wondering why I am fussing it is because I am a terrible flyer and I need to have everything 'just so' else I can't settle :|

EF is showing the seat map as seats 70-82 so it looks like an old plane.

Hi and welcome to V-Flyer

The seatmap on Expert Flyer is showing a non refurbed 747 and that the both economy and PE are full

As you are travelling in PE, just go to the PE check in rather than using the bag drop off. Not only will they give you a proper boarding pass, you will get through much quicker :D

You will have a good flight in PE irrespective of whether the plane has been refurbed

It looks like (unless of course any last minute oeprational chnages come into play!!) you may be travelling on VTOP (Virginia Plain) which by all accounts will be doing the VS74 back from MCO tonight and should then operate the VS85 tomorrow....so a non-refurb a/c but I am sure your experience in PE will be great - enjoy y)

Hello all, thanks very much for your comments and tracking down which craft we will be on.

The last poster I'd quite correct - we are not in PE, just plain old E :) a bit of a misunderstanding somewhere, I think.

Do you think it is worth going to check in tomorrow to ask about changing seats at all?
