25%? Really? Diabitic.org put it at about 4-5% rising to about 7-8% by 2025.

My question would be a quarter of which population? |:)

A tropical island with a population 4?

Their wording makes me chuckle some times... the economy "feel good kits"; the upper class "modern toothbrush" and passengers being "delighted at the return of a pen" - ok the last one is true :D

Good spot Hamster, better than my find of kits from the 90s was it? :P

How is the shoe bag not useful ? Aside from transporting shoes it also serves as a handy Travel Scrabble container.

Perhaps we should wait to pass judgement until one is seen in the flesh? :?

One would think that a little bit out of the £100 million would have been spent on creating a decent amenity kit. And in this era of liquid restrictions, you would think that a few travel wssentials would make sense in an amenity kit.can't VS exploit their relationship with Cowshed? I really don't want to start ranting, but other airlines offer a better business class amenity kit with top of the range (or at least name brand) skincare products and for the same price, VS offer plastic e-reader cases that probably would not be useful if they were made to fit a particular e reader.

I remember that even Y used to get Virgin Vie lipbalm.

Ok. I'm going to stop now

This must be the only time that anyone has ever described a VS amenity kit as the dog's boll**ks. :)

Recycled plastic it may be, but it is a soft plush material.

Not been flying much for a while so not been on here too often. Boy have I missed posts like this. Thanks for the laughs.

The new kits make a nice change. I do wonder about modern toothbrushes and can't wait to see one. ii) Plus yes, I am delightedly ecstatic about the prospects of the return of the pen and a packet of tissues!! Must book a flight or two now, that has just persuaded me.

I have a few spare shoe bags if anyone wants them for their dogs's balls!

Yep Emily, purple vs red is the big class divider on VS. My wife practically lives in the many pairs of purple socks that I've brought home over the years. Won't touch the red ones though...
