Pre book seating

Hi,i know this question has possibly been asked before but when does everyone think that the return of pre booking seats will return for November 1st onwards.It seems to me that the important date is the 1st of November,would this date be the cut off point between changing from the old system and the new updated booking system,would like to hear what everyone else on the forum thinks and also how good do they think the new sytem upgrade will be.

No idea, VS are being cryptic with what they are doing to the booking system in November - it could be a straight forward system upgrade, which knowing VS IT systems is going to be far from straight forward. ii)

Current speculation is they are going to move to a system that charges people to prebook specific seats - just like BA do.

Of course this is only speculation and so no one has a clue. How good it will be is dependent on whether or not they will leave it as an unfinished mess (their website for example..) or shock us all with something that not only allocates seats together, but also that actually remembers our seating preferences.. y)
