The trusty Wilbur and Orville Salt and Pepper pots are returning to Upper Class, but this time they are black rather than silver. The silver ones will be remaining with the Premium Economy cabin

The 'cocktail shaker' will slowly be phased out and this will start to happen on some flights from 17th September.

Passengers won't be encouraged to take them now, though I'm sure they'll still go missing!...

Yeah - the cocktail shaker may be good for liquids, but for actually getting any salt out (and not covering yourself in pepper when you separate the two) it was hardly a winning solution...!

Good move. Ah - something VS tried, realised didn't work, and FIXED? All within a year?!?

Blimey - things are looking up ;)

I agree it's good to have reacted to the problem, but I am more than a little concerned they failed to identify they didn't work properly before they were introduced. It may not be so easy to replace some of the other new products if they too prove to be another example of style over content.

Yup, that cocktail shaker was next to useless.

You're no doubt speaking from experience.

I am glad the cocktail shakers are being phased out. They looked nice but weren't easy or tidy to use. Would the black W&O fit in with the colour scheme though?
