Have Seat Requests After November 1st Become Available ??

We booked our October trip on VS073 back in January and were able to select our seats in UC at the time of booking. Can't change them now though (not that we'd want to!) so I assume that either the flight's full or the system's locked up since then. Wonder if our selections will still be there come OLCI...

That is because the restriction was only for flights after the 1st November (unless you were flying PE), and as October is before November, you wouldn't have been affected

Aha... that would explain things then. Clearly I don't keep my ear close enough the ground VS-wise nowadays...

I just received an email from VS alerting me to the fact that seat assignments are now available for my November flight...

While I've just received a text message about it! :0

Got a text message saying i could pre-book seats for my upcoming return on VS020 on the 5th of november, logged in straight away and it still says unavailable. Great! 8D

Just logged in and was able to request seats for my trip to DXB (PE) in December and return in January.

We had concerns over our seat allocation when we pre selected our seats back in April last year, and like the rest of you guys we could not see if the seats were still booked for our flights departing 1st nov and returning 16th.

The downside to this was despite sending emails asking for confirmation there was no feedback from virgin.

The positive news is our original seat requests were honoured now that the seat map is available again so in the end were all happy

PE Seats available for the rtn in Dec from MCO, but not the outbound from LGW in Nov..
Will stay tuned but expect to wait until TLCI the eve before flying..

I guess your return flight is scheduled to be an A333 but your outbound a 744 which will not be available for seat requests due to the refurbs.

We are flying UC back from MIA in January, but seat map still unavailable.

So presumably, I can't pre-request my return flight on October 17th until OLCI - oh well.

I got a text on Friday too, promptly logged on and managed to request seats for the outbound in economy. Can't do the return leg in PE though.

I notice that they've become available for a flight I'm on in December. We're in economy but it's still showing in the old config, and hopefully we might get the new config. I assume if that's the case we'd be able to change our seats?
