Maybe not a massive thing, but interesting this morning...
Normally, PVG uses the Shanghai Airlines "SAL Business Lounge" - and you get a little blue invite when you get to check-in which is your pass to the lounge.
Today, I was given a red one, for the "SAL First Class Lounge" (and the agent made a point of it when she handed it to me). Same lounge (no.77) - but you turn left when you get to the top rather than right.
In reality, the difference is pretty much nothing - other than there are less people in the first section. What I *did* find interesting, however, is that the check-in agent had a pile of both red and blue passes - so they still issue business lounge passes out in some cases.
So, I wonder what the deciding factor is on whether you now get a red or a blue one...?
