my sister in law has booked flights thorough her work to barbados for her and her partner, her son, his girlfriend and her brother. they are all flying ec virgin. can i claim their miles? non of them has an account.

As Tinks said no - but if you send them the join FC via the link you send them (think its called 'miles more friends') and they join then you will both get some bonus miles (and they will get the flying miles)

Yes, for a fee.
I think it's £15 per 1,000 miles plus £15 transaction fee.

Gifting miles is when you buy miles and give them as a gift to someone. What you mean is transferring miles which is done for a fee
