Time to say goodbye to Lady Penelope?

Hi All,

Just noticed on the Status Updates page that G-VFAB is due to
position from MAN to LHR on 19th October.

However there is no sign of the flight to MAN of yet.

Could she be heading in for a repaint into the standard colours?

Lady Penelope is still in service, and is currently on her way to LAX operating Flight VS007.
She's about ready for a new coat of paint, so if it's possible to strip down and repaint a 747 in under 2 weeks, that could be what's happening.
Or she may be covering for one of the Gatwick fleet: Jersey Girl and Pretty Woman are both in for their refits.
