Hello v-flyers,

I am going to Mumbai in December on the new A330 UCS with the Mrs. (After quite a few trips over the past 12 months & some CC spend, had accumulated enough miles for some Gs...... :D :D )

Any thoughts on best seats for a couple in the new UC cabin?

Preiffer ha ha ha. Nice one

Avoid row 9 on the a330 unless you also wish to share your seat with the bar. The front few rows also get a lot of back and forth with the front galley. I would recommend rows 4 thru 6 either a or k sides ... Avoid the middle block at all costs - unless you have a conical head, in that case middle block are fine....

Enjoy the new aircraft it is not all bad :D

(sorry - couldn't resist)

You know, saw the OP's post early this morning and was tempted to reply with pretty much the same thing... but I'm trying to temper my negativity of the new UCS. I may even try it again someday. For that matter, I may not have any choice!

I believe you've switched to BA. I'd be very interested to hear your experiences of using BA Club since switching?

It's the same issue as the 346s -- if you are next to someone in the same aisle, the walls of the suite hinder communication. If you are across the aisle in the same row, you are quite a long way away -- although the distance is noticeably less on the 333.

I think the best advice is to be towards the front of the cabin, as joeyc says. As for same aisle vs. same row -- it's up to you.
