Best chances of getting Y seats in bubble?

Hi. I am booked to go to the Caribbean in November on a 747, can anyone please tell me what is my best chance of reserving my EC seats in the bubble?

I can only advise what I managed to do for my trip to SFO in September this year. Any where between 2-6 hours prior to OLCI opening I checked the seat map and snaffled 6 seats up in Y in the bubble. I then al but secured these by completing OLCI ASAP - went to the bag drop and we were sorted! y) y)

A totally different experience up there which made the flight even more enjoyable 8D

I agree with what Petmadness said - the seats tend to be blocked until a few hours before check in, but you can reserve them at that point if you are lucky. Always worth asking at the airport too.

On VS93 Jan still Y seats left in bubble and been available for last 10 days

We got our Economy seats my doing twilight checkinon the way out.

On the way back there were 12 of us over 36 seats !!!!
