Morn all
Need a bit of help with the above,I'm not very good at this sort of thing.
I have pics of our trip that I want to put on the TR but unsure how to do it !
I'm sure I've read on here that you can't put photos on from an iPad ,not sure if that's the case but if I can't I have photos on my camera so do I have to transfer them to my laptop?
I really haven't a clue so any help would be appreciated
Thanks
Blacky

The best way would be to upload the photos to a site like Flickr to use that as the host and then link to them from there and then use the IMG tags to link to them.

Hi - to add to Neil's reply upload your photos to something like Flickr, then for each picture you want to post:

1. Copy the url from the line at the top of your web browser (the one that usually starts with "https:// ...".
2. In the place you want the photo in your TR click on the URL button here:

3. In the first [url] change it to [url]then after the equals sign paste the link for the page of your photo.

4. In between the first [url]and the second[/url] write some text describing your picture or often something like 'see here'.

Your picture will appear as a link something like this:

You will need to get the photos onto your computer.

When writing your report you will notice an upload attachment tab towards the bottom of the page.

Click that, select browse, select the photos from your computer....sorted.

Yup, as HWVlover mentions, no need to use flickr. You can upload a picture (an 'attachment') while posting your topic, then use the 'place inline' button to add the picture to your text. Note that the one thing you should do is resize your images for web viewing. The forum space on V-Flyer is about 480px wide, so you should aim for that width before uploading. Trying to upload a picture raw from your phone or camera (at about 3000 pixels wide these days) will not only take a while, it'll probably fail and waste your time.
