Hello from the LHR CH and now the HKG CH

As it says really . As a load more snow was delivered in our garden in S.Wales this morning we thought it'd be wise to head up the M4 sooner rather than later. DTCI was it's usual doddle and straight up to the CH where after an initial 15 minute period of being ignored things have got much better. Afternoon tea and a mojito ordered for me and a CH burger and champagne for Mr DL and a proper massage booked for later on .
The only downside is that there's a chap a little further down ( we're in the gallery ) who is flat out fast asleep snoring like a pig!!!

So come on and admit how much of your luggage allowed have you used up?? We know you don't (can't) pack light!

Hi DL we have missed you by a day. We will hopefully be in the clubhouse tomorrow night for our flight to Dubai. As more snow is forecast overnight for South Wales, we will probably follow your plan and set off early. Have a good flight and a great holiday. Will look foward to all your Trip Reports.

Ha ha -22 year itch more likely Tonty I have actually been pretty restrained ( sub 30kgs in fact and just the one case :0 :0 ).
Daffodil take care on the way up -DL the Elder says the snow that fell earlier has cleared but they've booked a hotel at LHR for Friday night just in case .

Ah well, at least I'm not flying BA. They'll probably cancel everything now

So here we are , now in the HKG CH and happily sat out on the balcony with a Mojito in one hand and a boarding card for 3 K in the other boarding card (seq 159 lol) Hope the weather isn't too bad back at home (my colleagues and Nessy have mailed me that there's been more snow. :0 ).Managed to get some proper sleep last night so hopefully I'll feel reasonable when we get into SYD in the morning .

Hi DL, nice of you to come and say hello.

Helps to pass the time as I've stranded myself at the HKG Clubhouse for 6 hours before my flight back to LHR. y)

Taking it easy so far, just the one Redhead with a Bombay Curry, but plenty of time to work my way through the rest of the menu.

Wifi is working great, managed video calls back to my office. Staff as efficient as ever.

Hope ya enjoy the time in the HKG CH Osy, def an amazing space to kill a few hours.
