Hi
First post, and first time traveling as a couple from gatwick to Vegas. Which are the best pair of seats out of the back 4 rows on a refurbed 747 please. I normally sit a lot further forward in a 3 or a 4

Hello and welcome to V-Flyer.

I think the rear economy cabin in the refurbished aircraft hasn't changed in layout, so if you go to the Toolbox / Seat Maps and Ratings and pick any of the LGW 747 fleet that should help.

Of course you now have the option on trying a for a seat upstairs too. For that look to the LGW-1 variant at the foot of the pick list.

Hope this helps...happy flying and remember to post a TR with your thoughts.

Last time I flew we had row 64 (A and C I think) - very last row.

Good in terms of space as you get extra shoulder room, no issues with recline. It does however take a long time to disembark with a full aircraft.....

thanks for replys guys.

Cant decide between last row or second row now, I do like the idea of no one prodding my head rest when they are using the touchscreen.

Is there no leg room beside the third row back if you sit in the back row, I know there will be less than the second row as the aircraft narrows

I have ended up going for row 62 for the extra stretch room. Will still try and get a front row economy seat at check in. Is there any likelyhood of that being possible.

This is the first time I have had to wait till the 90 day seat plan appears, it seems that lots of people dont realise that the seats appear on 90days as there are very few seats selected
