Questions about our upcoming VS043 flight

It's been a long time since I have posted a new thread and I've tried searching through the pages of other posts but with out much success to the specific questions I have, so please be gentle with me. :#

My questions are as follows;
1. With the twilight check in, if I check in two suitcases, I'm flying PE with the wife. Can I still bag drop another case the next day. I'm staying over at an airport hotel so will have a small overnight case. I'm flying PE with the wife.

2. On the refurbished 747's seat map, there appears to be no exit row PE seats. What are the best seats to go if they become available?

Yes, you can do drop another bag the next morning, just go to either the PE desks or the bag drop ones.

There are no PE exit row seats. Personally I would go for a pair on the AC side towards the middle/back on the main downstairs cabin.
