ISTBC but I think the ELRs are £30 each and the exit rows £60 BUT you get the second free. so effecively the same price. in which case for me the exits win as leg room is much more important. however yes they do have tvs in the arms meaning slightly narrower seats and you cant raise the arm rest to spread out. also be aware on some planes the A or K seats can have restricted room due to the bulge of the door.

ive used the exits twice when I had to fly EC with a companion (usually fly PE) and the legroom was great. the width was liveable

Exit leg room seats at £30pp, Exit rows are either £50 or £75pp depending on destination (its to do with the length of the flight), and on the 747, if you buy the middle and seat closest to the door, you get one free as the door bulk impacts the legroom on the seat closest to it.

The exit row tv screens are in the armrest so the seat width is reduced.

Personally I would go for the legroom seats, the are cheaper, offer a good amount of legroom more and full seat width.

Whereas I would go for the exit row every time! I'm 6'5" so unlimited legroom versus a fairly paltry extra 3 inches is a no-brainer for me.

But I appreciate that others don't like the slightly narrower seat or the fact that the exit rows are often located near galleys, with the extra bustle that entails. And of course they're not an option if you're flying with kids or don't meet the criteria for opening the doors in an emergency.

So at the end of the day it comes down to what matters most to you personally.

y)

Everyone is different and has their own personal preferences, so it just comes down to what suits a person best.
