I am soon to be on 27 LGW-MCO in UC but it seems that 744s rarely fly that code -usually 330s. 15 is nearly always a 744 though. I've reserved my seat, so it looks like it will be a 744, so will they change the aircraft type when the Summer schedule starts? ?|
The 27 is split between both a/c types, but in the main is an A333.
The historical data is over a 3 month period, so with the quieter months the A330 is more then adequate for a couple of the daily flights to MCO. However with your flights at the end of the very busy Easter period, the loads are crazy high so they use 747's on as many flights as needed to help, and even though an outbound might be quiet, the returns are likely to be packed so that is also taken in to consideration.
