VS077 29th March 2013

I went down to MAN this morning to do a bit of photography at the Aviation Viewing Park (in old money seeing as it's now known as the Runway Visitor Park) and in the takeaway section of the restaurant there's an arrivals/departures board linked up to the system used in the terminals.

When I was thawing out in there I noticed that today's Barbados flight (VS077) was cancelled. Can anyone shed some light on this and am I right in assuming the return VS078 tonight will also be cancelled?

The Friday VS077 down to Barbados only operated from early December until 22 March....to meet demand during the depths of the British winter......so the last outbound was last Friday.

So a bit of an airport error with the information screens as it was never planned to operate today.

The Monday service continues though.....
