The memory aint what it used to be

I have tried searching the forum without any luck although I know there is a topic out there somewhere which covers my question.

I have done this before but cannot for the life of me remember how to do it.

I want to update the bits under my post to delete the entries covering my last flights and to add this years holidays. How the heck do I do it please?

Go to the User Control Panel on the land hand side menu, then the profile tab, then edit signature on the land hand menu

you need to use this format in the 'signature' as per Neil BUT replace { with [ and } with ]


{event=2013/08/25} describe the event {/event}


enter the date of the event (year/month/day)

replace with the description of the event

I don't understand how to do it? i typed as instructed but it didnt do a countdown just came out exactly as I typed it.

this is what i entered in my signature box:

[event=2013/12/15]
[/Tokyo]

I wanted to do the countdown. xx days until LHR-NRT etc....

Apologies if it is really easy just I am not the best with computers.
Any help would be greatfully received
