Miles

If I book PE trips to Cancun for myself and wife ,would I need 140,000 miles for 2 flights or 105,000 for 1 flight + 1 companion flight,wanted to ask the experts before looking a fool on the phone, everything seems so complicated to me.
May just cash them in for V Hols vouchers,seems easier?

What you are saying is correct, however to buy a companion ticket with miles, you need to buy a S or W PE revenue fare. You cannot buy a full miles ticket and a companion one together.

Regarding using your miles for VH vouchers, it might be the easy thing to do, but in terms of getting value for your miles it is a terrible use of them.

Have you had a look at buying an M economy fare and upgrading with miles to PE for one of your tickets? That would be 25k miles plus the cost of the Y ticket, which won't be *that* much more than the fees/taxes you would have to pay on the straight miles PE ticket.
