JFK Clubhouse Showers - brrrrr!

Hi,
Has anyone else had problems with the lack of hot water in the JFK clubhouse showers? Was less than impressed when the water went stone cold after about 2 minutes. I know it is hot in NYC today but that was really too cold to be refreshing!

I hate to complain but mentioned it to the concierge who said they would try to get it fixed - not much good to me now I have showered!

Luckily I had booked a nice relaxing head massage to help me forget my chilly ordeal! Great meal in the clubhouse today and staff very attentive y)

Nope cannot say that I have... perhaps people on an earlier flight used all the hot water and the, no doubt ancient, tank had not had chance to refill yet..

Love the staff at the JFK CH - a fantastic team.

I certainly did sample all the delights of the CH. Flight was good though my seat wouldn't convert to bed mode. Took the crew a good while to fix it so I ended up at the bar. A move I regretted with it being such a short flight! Obviously wasn't my lucky day with the showers and seat issue!!

Enjoying revivals now. The head massage is amazing! I normally fly PE to/from NYC as its a short sector but I'll be tempted to upgrade to UC for future NYC trips

It's funny you should mention this. Last time I showered at JFK I did find it a chilly experience. And the water pressure wasn't up to much either. In this respect, as in others, I still miss the old Clubhouse...

The water pressure from the main shower head was non-existent. I had to use the detachable head. Overall very poor. I was hoping this was a one off as I spend most the day before I travel out and about and like to freshen up before the flight. Luckily I rarely travel UC from JFK so I shouldn't worry myself too much.

I didn't experience the old clubhouse but I must say I really like this one... Apart from the shower!! Haha.
