Hi, I have a flight booked for a return trip to New York in October.
When I look at a seat map, all the PE seats seem to be over a wing?
Which is the best window seat for PE and if i do sit over a wing can you still see other things out of the window ?
Sorry for such a STUPID question but I can select my seat in two weeks or so and it it's bugging me ii)

As a fellow fan of the window seat I would say choose a seat as far forward as you can get when seat selection opens. Rows 31,32 or 33 are likely best, further back the wing is more obvious and not all "window" seats have a window at all.

We are travelling from LHR to LAX in PE next month - woohoo it's July and I can say holiday is next month :-)

There are 3 of us so I selected seats in row 31, A,C and C in Row 32 behind. Our son is 5 and a window seat is a must. Hubby travels a lot so not bothered where he sits but prefers the aisle so he doesn't have to step over anyone.
Similar seats for our return from SFO.
I agree the further forward better the view, plus you will get off the plane quicker.

Hope that helps

Hi there,

I always select a window seat as far forward as possible, use OLCI to secure these at T-24 then get to the Airport early on the day of travel to try and get an exit row seat.
The further forward you sit the less the wing will interfere with your viewing pleasure.

I have to agree next month does sound much better than August, 54 days to go, see you at the Airport y)
