Gatwick - "Upper Class drop off"

Hello,

Just a quick question if I may...

I noticed this on the VS website.

"If you’re arriving at Gatwick by chauffeured car or Limobike, your driver will drop you to our exclusive Upper Class drop off and show you to check in."

I am familiar with the Upper Class Wing at LHR and this is clearly not the same. Does anyone know what the Upper Class drop off actually is?

If you are travelling on the VS CDC (and sometimes with a purchased Trisar journey) the drop off point at Gatwick is the upper level so all you have to do is use the travelator into the Terminal.

[For those familalr with the old arrangementsat the South Terminal, it is where everyone used to be dropped off]

There is no meet and greet facitility anymore at Gatwick

Just been dropped off at the upper level, as Buns said by the entrance to the travellator. Sadly no longer a meet and greet service but never the less convenient. Actually impressesd the fact you now come out of security and arrive at the club house! Staff absolutely fab this morning as always

Thanks both. So this drop off is exclusive to Virgin's CDC and not any other form of arrival?

I was hoping it would be similar to the Wing at LHR and open to any car service.

Think the upper level for authorised vehicles only, not just for VA. Obviously not as exclusive as Heathrow's set up but upper level not quite a bun fight as lower level
