no, I didnt get any email, I just noticed it while browsing the site

I received an e-mail telling me about the reward sale and 25% bonus on buy/transfer/gift miles. Came through at about 17.00 last night. Lin

I also received the economy reward seat sale e-mail at 17:09 last night. I would have been tempted by Las Vegas but its not included.

and the best news is... the "taxes" had reduced considerably - on Manchester/Orlando now £215 (was typically around £340 I think).. this really makes reward travel excellent value as the taxes really did make a "free" ticket very expensive.

Even in the BA forum on Flyertalk - where VS is normally regarded as an inferior young interloper, there is a grudging acceptance that this reward seat sale represents an excellent deal. Well done VS!

Penny - Many thanks for this. I had given up hope of finding a suitably affordable reward seat to upgrade to PE for our holiday to MCO in October. I don't get the emails from vs, so would never have known. So instead of flying economy with Aer Lingus via Dublin, we are now flying PE with vs direct for roughly £120 extra. What a deal!!!
