What Blacky says is correct

However remember that airlines will overbook seats as past history will show the rate of "no shows" on a particular route and on a particular day.

The seat map on Expert Flyer is showing PE pretty full but still some space in Economy

fwiw i flew on vs400/401 last week, the day before both showed several UC seats free in various fare codes, from memory no PE on 400, a couple on 401

i was booked PE, so got to the airport early both times and got upgrades to UC, i was offered a choice of seats, so a few UC were still free

by boarding time I think all the UC were taken, perhaps by upgrades, perhaps late bookings/flexibles, but if you're planning on it i'd try to do it online or make sure you're first at the airport

dxb ticket desk officially opens at 0815 for 401 but was a few minutes early, it's in zone A right next to the UC check-in

Thanks for your help.

I checked UC online as a money booking and the lowest fare was showing at about £1500 which I thought was a bargain. When I called FC there were no miles upgrades and the price they wanted to upgrade with money was £5500 for three of us. I just don't get it?

The best price I could find was over £3200 for a week from the 26 th October ,
Are you sure you weren't looking at just 1 leg of the trip ?as there are only j and c fares left I doubt that it would have been £1500
