Hello from Lounge 77, Shanghai.

This airport is an oasis of calm, I've has a few cola drinks and a traditional T&G.

Pacing myself for the 10 hour flight ahead...

Had a wonderful, amazing, life affirming time here, with lovely hosts in what is truly the New York of the East.

I am in Shanghai every six weeks --- I cannot say enough about the people, the culture, Shanghai itself [Shanghai itself does not represent China --- it is a really unique modern city buzzing with excitement, the recent ongoing trial of a Free Trade Zone will catapult Shanghai even further]
Great airport, shame about lounge 77 it's poor, offering little western food etc--- the Priority Pass lounge is way superior and just happens to overlook the gate, so can watch boarding and depart at the last minute
