Shops away issues

Anyone else having problems with Virgins shops away.

Been doing a little bit of online shopping via shops away lately, but having issues with the clicks and pending miles appearing then disappearing.

Have put in a claim for not an inconsiderable amount in total, so will see what happens but system seems a little flakey since the update to the pages.

Yes that has happened to me too.

In fact one of my claims was rejected as they said I hadn't used the link to book, even thought I had.

Yep, some transactions showed up then they all disappeared, including all click history...

These new broadband shields/network level based filter systems some of the providers are now using here in the UK (Sky is one and BT have also just launched a similar thing, I think Talk Talk have something similar as well) do inadvertently block some of the affiliate networks which in turn blocks your click-though.

Whilst they are not usually turned on by default, I had issues using Quidco (which uses the same affiliate network system) after turning on the Sky Shield thing on for my home broadband (even when set to 'adult - over 18' mode).

I've now turned it off again.

Yes I've also had issues. Several purchases I've made in the past month were there to see in shopping history earlier this week but have now disappeared, while some purchases I made in October which weren't showing up earlier this week are now.

I'm putting it down to gremlins with the new system. Thought I'd give it till new year then chase up if needed.

Just to update - all the transactions that disappeared from my history last week have now reappeared and all looks ok.
