Hi all,

Could someone please tell me if the Virgin Amex Black card is being stopped. In the distant recesses of my brain I thought I had read something about this. I cannot find anything in the search option on the site.

I have 'lost' my black Amex card (John is livid), and I was wondering if (after reporting it) I would be issued with a different card. If so, do you still get double points?

Many thanks for any info.

VS are certainly still offering the black Amex card via their website here

Even if they did stop offering it to new customers, there would be no issues getting a replacement card as an existing customer. It will have the same branding on it.

I still have an old BMI MasterCard (which I now longer use and is no longer offered) and MBNA sent me a replacement card to replace an expired one a few months ago with the same BMI branding on it.

Is it that it was changing providers from MBNA to Virgin money? Wasn't that supposed to happen?

My Virgin Money card became a generic MBNA one, but not heard anything about the Virgin Atlantic card, which is still with MBNA.

Virgin Atlantic card, issued by MBNA still being offered via the Virgin Money website here

I was hoping to chat to the rep. in the CH next time I'm there and perhaps pick one up.

I thought that was the case too, but it doesn't seem to have happened.
