I changed my flight yesterday from Thursday to tomorrow, with this in mind (it may be important) please read on....

I just went to check in for my VS012 flight using online check in (OLCI) and could not...strange???

Normally I get an email telling me OLCI is open - Not Today (i did get an email from rewardwallet.com though which prompted me)

When I try and use OLCI I get the following message..."Sorry we are unable to continue with your Check in. Please go to the Virgin Atlantic Ticket and Support desk for assistance at the airport."

I have changed flights like this before without any trouble and OLCI has worked fine.

Also I am not offered the option to Check-in on my FC page although the future flights link works fine and shows I have 21hrs before I depart.

So, am I tainted goods (my wife would concur here!) or is OLCI busted?

I'm sure I read here (quite a while ago) that a random selection of pax are denied OLCI to allow security checks at the airport.

OLCI is also often denied if the flight's completely full. Or there may be an issue with your API.

So it could be any number of reasons - but more likely, I'd have thought, that the system just hadn't caught up with your late re-ticketing.
