Reward seat sale?

Hi all

I know there was one in January, but I cannnot remember whether this is an annual thing or if another miles sale will crop up again before the end of the year.

Looking to book to DXB for before XMas and seats are available but I am short 8k miles, tempted to buy the extra but if there is a chance of a miles sale I will take a chance and hold out

I have another 2 PE upgrade vouchers so will hopefully use these to upgarde to PE.

I'm sure something will crop up soon, although I'm afraid I don't have a clue as to when. If those seats are still there it might be best to top up your miles and go for it, or if you've flown VS in the last 6 months do a retrospective miles booster to buy the base flown miles or double miles. This works out cheaper than just buying miles.

Try searching in the old posts and look at the dates when people have been speaking about them, tends to be 3 or 4 per year with varying discounts. (Past performance not a guarantee of future offers)

I always used to wait for the one around July/August as that has been 50% off Economy in the past and often combineable (not a word I know) with Amex PE upgrade voucher.
