With so much knowledge on here, sometimes its easier to forget to simply read the Virgin website!

What the web site doesn't say, and what you can learn hear however is that it's perfectly OK to take a drink up and planewatch!

Now - that does change everything - I think whilst Mrs Armstrong is getting some spa time, I shall grab some bubbles there (weather depending of course!)...

Only 17 days until I leave for Heathrow now - with a night in the Hilton before hand. Cannot wait..!

Although just a note of caution - the loft is sometimes roped off during the day, I think they use it for corporate events and private hires from time to time.

Just luck of the draw ... there are plenty of seats downstairs with views out on to the airfield if needs be though.

Hey all - sorry for bringhing this post back from page 3, but thought it was better than a new one asking the same type of questions...

Does anyone know what time the hair dressers opens at the CH - was thinking of getting a shave and haircut, but only in there from 7am to 8:30ish...

Opens when the CH does. The shave is done in the treatment area rather than the hairdressers. Head for the booking desk as soon as you're in. They ask which flight you're on and try to prioritise accordingly.

Awesome - I will be there at 7am waiting like a lost child... I guess for food etc you just grab a seat and someone comes over - or should I just ask someone?

If you grab a seat someone will come over, though service can be a bit spotty. Alternatives would be to head into the seated restaurant area, eat there and then head out into the CH proper or to use the deli as the source of food and only get served drinks....

Thanks guys..!

Is there a dress code, I tried searching the forum, but the last post was in 2008 on this that I could find. I was thinking Sports Jacket, shirt, boaters and dark denim jeans - but Mrs Armstrong is of course worried about this...

Is that the new Upper sleep suit?

By the way this tread utterly confused me as I too am one of the Armstrong clan so all references to Mrs Armstrong were mixed up in my head with Mrs Fuzzy!
