Delays at MCO 01/05

Hi Guys, does anyone know what the issues have been today with vs16/15? Lots of twitter action regarding a cancelled flight? Vs75 was late out too, have I missed something??

I do know there have been plenty of weather warnings (high winds etc) in the Orlando area during the day. Could be that aircraft have been diverted

Severe thunderstorms at MCO have caused delays/diverts.
We were on Tuesdays 76 and were held on stand 90 mins while the storm passed and we were cleared to depart. I believe the arriving LGW flight was diverted to West Palm Beach where facilities were very limited and the crew went out of hours causing a delay of 8'ish hours getting to MCO.

Someone I know was departing on a flight out of MCO to carribean today and they had a two hour delay due to the severe rain as baggage could not be loaded into the hull and due to the weather they were not prepared to load pax as they were not sure if it would ease enough to be able to depart imminently.

Aaaaaah I see, thanks v flyers, I'm on vs75 in 17 days so I'm keeping tabs
