Good morning all.

DTCI fantastic and quick, and the OH, who knew nothing about it, was suitably impressed. Security not such a breeze as I got searched, but in the CH within about 15 mins.

Got my cutthroat shave booked, an obligatory glass of champoo, some OJ and my eggs royale ordered.

It's gonna be a good day :D

Cheers guys. On my third glass of champoo now so need a bacon gutty to soak it up lol!

The shave, with the combined facial etc - best experience ever! I've never had anybody shave me before, it's remarkably an intimate thing, very relaxing, and I'm so chilled right now I might just fall asleep.

There's no way you wouldn't enjoy all the CH offered, and I can see you did! Wish I was there!
You're well on your way now so I hope you and the OH are having a fantastic flight. Have a glass of port for me at the bar!
Enjoy japan!

Hello again lovely peeps from Asakusa, Tokyo.

I'm happy to report flight was F.A.B. We're getting to the end of our first day and need some sleep. Had a little hiccup with bath flooding our bathroom so hotel moved, and upgraded us, to a nice family suite designed for 4 people. The view from the room directly overlooks Senso-ji Temple, and at night it's beautifully lit up. (I can't seem to upload a pic).

It's been a brill day, I promise the TR will follow, I'll get it started in the next few days and it can be something I finish on the train journey down to Kyoto later in the week I think.

For now, good night folks and thanks for your well wishes.
