My fiancée is on that flight! Just arrived at LHR. Safe travels. Enjoy the A346 while it lasts.

Well for a change didn't have the burger but tried the tapas. Very nice! Now trying the new Red Carpet cocktail. Hopefully at this rate will get some sleep on the flight!

Thank you for the offer, but I wasn't able to get in touch with her in time. Gate opens soon as I understand. There was some delay at check-in with a flight from Lagos running out of fuel and having to be diverted she said? Perhaps we will hear about that soon.

Thanks for the offer again, you guys are all great.

Not a problem. We didn't get called to board until 7.40pm and are now waiting for transit passengers on the Lagos flight that was diverted to LGW due to crap weather at LHR

Personally I've always found the late flights out better in that regard aswell ,
Also I find the early flights home best for me as by the time I get in I'm ready for bed and get a cracking nights sleep and wake up as normal the next day y)

I'm glad you might have been converted to the late arrival. I usually do VS25 with a similar sort of thing. If I give my self at most a short nap en route then I tend to have barely any jet lag :)
