I notice from Petmadness that like me they only became aware of a separate counter after jouining the general line. Its seems to be very poorly signed and there was no staff to point us in the right direction when we arrived. At that time UC check in was to the left and judging by the set up that is where it normally is operated from. I assume that in future we should just go to the left and hopefully be called to a counter?
Any one else found it a little confusing or is it just me? It seems quite an embarrassing way to operate. Makes us feel we are pushing in.

I've always joined (the long) queue for Twilight and never been told I should have strayed left - always UC. In fact I've commented on TR's before that I think there should be a UC/Premium dedicated desk which defaults to everyone else when there are no UC/P pax to check-in.

No, it's not just you. That's exactly how we felt last evening when told about it.

We went upper last year from Gatwick and were told there was no Upper twilight check-in.
It didn't really matter as there were no queues and I'd left my passport at the hotel so couldn't check in anyway.
I had to go back to the hotel to pick the passports and even when I got back there were still no queues. Then in the morning went over with the bags and realised I still had the hotel key in my pocket so had to go back again!
This year we didn't even bother with the twilight, just did it on line from the hotel in the first place.
