Hi

I'm a single traveller flying from Heathrow to New York in November this year. I'm flying PE for the first time and I'm wondering what is the best seat to choose. I see from the plan that PE is on the lower deck behind upper class. The only seats blocked out right now are 28A&C but everything else is available.

My flight out it in the afternoon and return is a night flight. 28K was my first choice but does it's close proximity to the Galley mean excessive noise. I also thought about 37A but realise this is not too far from the toilets.

What's everyone else's opinion on the best seats?

Many Thanks

Beth

Hi Beth

Welcome to V-Flyer. We all have favourite seats, mine may be different to yours, also I always fly with OH, you may want an aisle seat as a single passenger.

I don't like the bulkhead (row 28AC, 29HK) - screen is in the armrest so width is compromised and I don't like the screen on the fold-out arm either. Those seats anyway are usually only available at OLCI.

A personal dislike is the row behind the bulkhead because from bitter experience the bulkhead seats often seem to be occupied by the "feet on the bulkhead wall, full recline" passenger. v(

I would also avoid row 34 as there's no window - even though there may be nothing but cloud to see, it can feel claustrophobic.

Row 37 has devotees on the forum as you can fully recline without feeling a bit guilty about those behind but there are often queues for the loo by that seat.

Enjoy your flight.
