Hi All

After the announcement of the cancellation of the Tokyo service, I , like many others went through the painful process of 'reprotection' to get replacement seats on another airline (In this case ANA)

The e-Ticket arrives! - whoopee! - we've done it.

However in coming to speak to ANA to allocate seats, they tell me that my 'Status OK' virgin issued tickets are only 'Wait listed' on THEIR system!

I've spoken to Virgin, who don't really know what's going on, and have promised to get back to me in 24 hrs

I'm posting this as a warning, as I used to think that an eTicket, marked 'status OK' meant that you were going.....

That doesn't sound like a great position to be in Peter!!!
I know you would have checked this but does the E-Ticket have a seat number printed on it??
If it does this may point to just confusion with ANA and VS. If it doesn't then I would be back on to VS and remove any type of wait list!!

Hmm

'Tomorrow' seems to mean something other than the Oxford English Dictionary meaning to those at Virgin. It's been two days now, so I phone Virgin, saying they'll phone me 'tonight' to bring me up to date.

I don't want 'bringing up to date' - I just want AN ETICKET THAT WORKS!!!!
