Does anyone know why Today's VS 15 was delayed? It's rarely on time but today over 3 hours late leaving! My pal had to take this flight :-(
Probably a technical problem/late inbound aircraft.
The 15 is vulnerable to delays as it is the last flight out of LGW, and also as one of the shorter routes it is easier for VS to "catch up" time wise, as an example look at yesterday/today where VS15 was over 3 hours late leaving but VS16 is landing just over 2 hours behind and today's VS15 is 45min late so they'll be caught up by tomorrow.
There is extra flexibility in the timetable at the moment as they are only operating one MCO flight but I've noticed during busier periods when the fleet is more stretched they often rotate the aircraft at MCO to get things back on schedule.
