Hi everyone,

I'm flying VS005 on Thursday Nov 6 from LHR which right now is scheduled to be on a 747. I've just looked at the aircraft history for the flight and for the past 13 Thursdays the plane used has been an A330-300... Why is this the case? The same is for Wednesday flights.

Also my partner and I have picked our seats (12 A and 12 K) in the nose of the aircraft but am wondering what will happen to our seat selection if it's changed to an A330? Will we end up in the cramped middle section of the UC cabin? Rows in the a330 end at seats 9A/D/G/K

Any help is greatly appreciated.

If the seat map in MMB says it's a 747 then it should be a 747.

The winter timetable kicks in at the end of October so just because a 333's been used on Wednesdays & Thursdays during the summer doesn't mean the same will be true during the winter.

If it were to change, though, you could be reseated anywhere so just keep checking MMB every so often to be on the safe side.

My VS5/6 flights for Dec 27th (Sat) & Jan 2nd (Fri) are showing a 747 so far (though no seat maps out yet). Doubt mine will change as the VS6 is showing as pretty full already (as most flights back to the UK are at that time of year)
