I'm flying from Manchester to Orlando next year and have managed to buy economy fares and upgrade with miles outbound to UC and return to PE. I was advised to check regularly on the website to see if any more UC seats become available to upgrade into for the return. The flight is in May. Does anyone know what the likelihood is of more G fares becoming available for the return leg? It looks as though these do get snapped up quickly. Many thanks in advance.

Unfortunately there is no answer.

My suggestion is to keep checking and snap anything up that comes available, right up to the day of your flight and at checkin…..good luck.

Hi and welcome.

Gs do indeed get snapped up quickly, and on the LGW/MAN/GLA routes the UC cabin only has 14 seats in total so G availability is very limited, particularly on the red-eye flights back to the UK where UC is more in demand because of the bed.

But there is every chance Gs will become available over the next 6 months - the key is persistence and patience. Keep checking, daily if possible, and keep your fingers crossed because they do pop up seemingly at random. If they do, get on the phone asap because they probably won't stick around for long.

One of those things where patience is a virtue...had to wait until T-4days for my return G to appear...snapped up very sharpish y) Good luck ^)

Hi and welcome to V Flyer

I will support what others have said - not impossible but keep checking

Here is from a V Flyer who simply did that and now Mrs Buns and I are sitting in the Delta Lounge waiting to board the aircraft with 2 G's ):
