The food is more basic and much less of a selection that in the CH but the full English, bacon roll etc is still much better than anything you get on-board in PE. I often miss breakfast on-board and then have something after a shower. Sets me up for a day in the office.
I believe its open everyday as they fly in everyday.

Thanks greatly - I missed going on my last DL BE flight due to being T4 - ditto on my last UC due to being LGW from LAS!

Typically years of UC flights and never had need to use - but have a need for a shower and breakfast after the long BOM flights in a couple of weeks so I'm presentable for the wife - we have plans for the day in London town.

Make sure you get the fantastic ladies to press your clothes while taking a shower. It really is like magic and I want to take them home.

1. Place suitcase wrinkled clothes in cupboard like place and close door.
2. Press intercom and give shower number and need.
3. Come out of shower, dry, open same cupboard - MAGIC y)
4. Leave tip on way out smiling and refreshed.

1/ Does it open Saturday? (hope so!).
2/ What is the food like - should I skip the final meal on plane in PE?

Yep, open daily from 5:00am to 1:30pm.

Food is good, nice range of breakfast offerings plus proper coffees etc. Better than you'll get on the plane (though the portions aren't so big that you need to consciously avoid a snack on the plane if you're peckish pre-landing!).
