We are flying UC -thank you G fairy on the VS045 on 21/01 . I picked my seats at T-60 for hubby and me, the lovely A12 & K12. Today I log on " just to check " and there has been a plane change - OK I know this happens - thanks to you lovely people - BUT - I have been put in A5 and hubby has been put in K1 !! Not even close :(! I have never flown an A330 before if I move us to G1 and K1 will it be OK ?? It my "big" birthday trip to NY so wanted it to start little bit special.

Thanks as always

Serena

the middle d/g seats are shorter and just not as nice, you'll have no contact across the aisle anyway

i would go for a pair of adjacent seats in a or k, closest you can get to the front

k1/2 would be good

anything up to rows 6-ish will give you a bit of distance from any bar noise

I've flown the 333 several times now in UC and while our preferred seats are in fact adjacent windows seats as mentioned above, we find that 1D/G or 1H/K are good second choices. While the middle seats are in fact shorter, the added privacy is nice and lavatories are not an issues on this plane for row 1.

It's said that you won't have any contact if sat across each other, but sitting adjacent isn't exactly a piece of cake either. I find myself sitting on the ottoman wherever we are in order to carry on a real conversation.
