Hi all hope you all had a good Christmas

Just booked to go back to Las Vegas from manchester, due to lack of funds and airmiles we are having to fly economy (what's the saying once you have turned left, it's hard to fly any other way)

Anyway needs must to get us over there!! I have heard stories of noisy passengers ((ie stag and hen do's)

As anyone had any experience flying to vegas in economy from manchester

Booked with virgin holidays so don't think we will be upgrading as we got a really good deal

Never been to Vegas personally (& no desire to do so). That said, I have read in many places that the MAN Vegas flights can be "lively".

It's not helped by the fact that the outbound flight is on a Thursday & the inbound on a Sunday (with late afternoon departure from LAS) so timings are ideal for Stag / Hen weekends in Sin City. I am sure some of the LGW-LAS flights are also lively, but the daily frequency will help to spread the rowdiness over the days.

Hope you get a good flight with not too much "trouble". Enjoy Las Vegas.

Try and book some seats upstairs. I know it's £50pp in total, but it will make your flight experience so much better and should reduce the potential issues that occasionally occur on Vegas flights.

Just to add the obvious - to avoid some of the Stag / Hen do's, try flying out on the Sunday & home on the Thursday flight.

I would imagine that the Thursday outbound / Sunday inbound appeals more to the weekend party crowd. Of course, they could take the "it's costing us a lot to get here, so let's stay longer" view. After all, hotel rooms are very cheap in Vegas.

New Tuesday flight from next summer from Manchester to Las Vegas is on an A340-600 so if you are on that I imagine the smaller cabin will help...
