I have 10,000 miles & a trip to North East of the USA booked.
Wondering what I can do with them..
I am guessing transferring them to a hotel partner - unless I can somehow use them for Car Rental?

I have already sorted out rooms for 2 legs of my trip, but still have to sort out a stop over in Hershey or Lancaster. Washington DC, Philly & New York.

I am quite happy with a no frills room as TBH I dont plan on spending much more than sleeping time there.

What would be the best partner to transfer them to? I am assuming by the time I need to use them, I will have a lot more than 10,000 miles, but nowhere near enough to bother keeping for another trip....

The the only Hotel partners of relevance to your trip that you can transfer miles to are Hilton and IHG.

Not sure what 10k VS miles would get you either scheme or if even if after the conversion it would be enough to get a room!

hotel partners

car rental partners but the only 'spend' partner is a company called 'Stoutes' and they are not in the US

thanks... Ill check IHG & Hilton to see how many points I need.
Been a long slog saving the airmiles for my trip in the first place, but have no intentions of collecting them anymore as I do not want to be tied to a single airline & waiting for availability on rewards, etc.

I figure I might get up to around 20-30k by the time I go, so prob still not enough for a room.
