Antigua airport

Hi, I'm new to this site(and posting),just wondered if anyone knows if they have finished the terminal at Antigua airport and what the 1st class lounge is like etc, never travelled in business class before it is a treat for the return journey .

When we flew out of ANU in July the general feeling was it would take another 6 months at least. It's looking good though.

Handover is meant to be mid February and then opening March after 2 weeks testing.

Yes, I've been in the current lounge a couple of times, it's a shared facility used by Virgin, BA and probably others. Really nothing to get excited about, it's small, windowless, with a buffet that takes the word 'minimalist' to extremes. If that's where you're going to end up in March, I wouldn't head to the airport early for it...

Friends of ours just returned from Antigua (flew the dark side) and told us they regretted getting to the airport 3 hours ahead of flight time - nothing to do and worse still curled sarnies in the lounge

As of Thursday it was still closed when we arrived. I'll give you an update on Saturday when we leave.
