For those on the final VS3044 today....a real treat awaits.

A water cannon salute will take place at J2 23R to mark the final departure. It will be a Little Red liveried aircraft too after days of using a "green tail"

I was hoping for 'queen of the cobbles' it seems fitting that the aircraft used for the first flight should be used for the last flight.
I shall be sat in the same seat as on the inaugural (3F).

Just checked in for the VS3045. Looks like they've already given up - given a letter apologising for no catering on the flight and a refreshment voucher in lieu.

Though it seems the booking engine is expediting the loss of the EDI route..
Currently trying to look at flights next month, and it's only returning one or two flight options per day. *sigh*
Someone at HQ has pressed the wrong button again...
