Earning miles

Hi, if anybody could help it would be great.

I was just on the phone to VS FC about booking a new flight and when I asked about how many miles I would receive on this flight they said you don't receive miles from flights anymore. Apparently you earn them from partners and credit cards only now. Is the agent wrong or am I just a bit behind?

Was it a miles or MPM flight you were talking to the agent about? You wouldn't earn miles for those flights.
