If I am reading the new tax changes correctly are we getting a refund on our flights if we have not been away yet. :| Sorry I don't understand. It just looks like a tax refund on flights. It ŵas on sky news earlier.

You mean the reduction of APD for the under 12's and later the under 16's?

You'll get this refunded if you paid for the flights before it was announced otherwise it should have been adjusted for new bookings.

If you mean the merging of APD Bands C and D into Band B was known about more than a year in advance so unlikely you would have been charged the old higher rate in the first place.

No not the children's Apd. This was the problem I was having. It seemed to be something about it starting today, I will try and find out more later on sky news. Thanks for trying to answer the question.
