VS 8

Anyone know why VS8 has been going out late recently, despite, on most occasions, VS7 getting on time?

Have relatives on VS8 soon with a connection in LHR so just curious.

It's been early on arrival for most of the last week, so not sure what your comment meant? However it was indeed delayed last night, and is currently scheduled to be about two hours late landing - unknown reason so far.

Given that the VS7 is showing in the schedules as arriving pretty much on time, I wonder if the slight delays are down to the work ongoing at T2 in LAX?

I took the VS7/8 in Jan/Feb this year.
We arrive in LAX pretty much in advance but left on VS8 almost 30 minutes late. I would have thought that it's due to the works in T2 indeed. It was a complete mess all over the place.

By contrast I was on VS8 last Saturday (4th) and we were fully boarded about 20 minutes before schedule, but didn't push back until the listed time and then spent another 15 minutes holding for other departures before our take off slot.

ATEOTD it's just the consistently inconsistent world of international flights.

Yep - I was on that flight too
